Lea was born with the intention to build a sustainable fashion brand for the young Indian consumer—a one-of-a-kind brand that would cater to women of all shapes and sizes and help them celebrate their bodies.

With its roots in Latin translating to lioness, Lea is made to grace the wardrobes of fierce women who aren’t afraid to question the status quo and be bold, impactful, and confident in everything they do.

Our styles are made to embody the three foundational brand pillars of body positivity, sustainability, and size inclusivity. Designed with petite-friendly hemlines, curve-accentuating silhouettes, and a minimalistic color and print palette, Lea delivers timeless designs that can become a long-term fixture in customers’ closets instead of adding to the trend-driven, fast-fashion pile.

Meet our Founder

Lavanya Aneja is the founder and CEO of Lea Clothing Co. and Saanjh by Lea. A graduate from UCLA with a double major in Economics and Philosophy, Lavanya always wanted to go the entrepreneurship path after seeing her father build a successful garment export company from the ground up. Her motivation behind starting this clothing line was twofold—first, to build a sustainable (and affordable) fashion brand for Indian consumers, and second, to build a brand that would cater to women of all shapes and sizes and help them love their bodies.
On a normal day, you can find her with an oat milk latte in hand, buzzing about the office working with the design team, marketing team, and merchandising team. And of course, recording videos for Lea and Saanjh's social media!
