We at Lea believe in adopting an ethical approach in all areas of our business. Our mission is to not only manufacture high quality clothes and prioritise customer satisfaction, but also to ensure that they are made ethically.

We hold an array of certifications including GOTS,  BCI (Better Cotton Initiative), WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production), BSCI. We pride ourselves on producing small runs of each collection and as per demand, contrary to fast fashion.

Raw Materials

Owing to a background in garment export, our team was able to identify a large variety of leftover, export surplus fabrics just lying with different export houses and even export supplier. We decided to source these surplus fabrics from the highest quality export suppliers (that would otherwise end up in landfills), to give them a second lease on life as gorgeous Lea products in your closets!

We're proud to share that almost 70% of our collection is made from export surplus fabric, making it upcycled fashion. So every time you shop with Lea, you're taking a step towards making your closet more sustainable.

Ethical Production

Sustainability for us doesn't just end at the clothes, we also believe in and stand for fair and ethical treatment of our very talented artisans. All our tailors, masters, and designers are paid fair wages based on the highest industry standards. Especially in light of COVID, highest hygiene standards are maintained with the installation of a sanitation system, a mask mandate, and educational initiatives on personal hygiene across all departments, and more.

Design

Lea adheres to a minimalistic color and print palette to produce classic, as opposed to “trendy” clothes that can have a long lifetime in consumers’ closets and not go “out of style” with trends and seasons. We employ proprietary techniques to deliver an exquisite, tailored fit made for the Indian body and maintain the highest quality standards to ensure durability and longevity of ALL Lea products!
